A tecnologia inverter foi uma inovação desenvolvida para aparelhos de ar-condicionado que caiu no gosto dos consumidores. Isso porque uma das suas principais vantagens é o menor consumo de energia elétrica, quando a solução é comparada com as opções convencionais.
Além disso, o ar-condicionado inverter atinge a temperatura desejada mais rápido do que os modelos tradicionais. Por isso, é considerado mais eficiente. Embora seja um pouco mais caro, esse aparelho tem se sobressaído no mercado. Veja a seguir as vantagens que tornam esse sistema tão desejado.
Economia de energia
Todo aparelho de ar-condicionado troca a temperatura do ambiente por meio da passagem de ar da serpentina evaporadora (a parte interna do equipamento). Depois, o ar refrigerado é devolvido ao cômodo.
Em um modelo comum, o compressor liga e desliga várias vezes, gerando picos de tensão. É justamente isso que causa o alto consumo de energia elétrica pelos aparelhos de ar-condicionado.
Já no sistema inverter, há constância no compressor, pois a temperatura varia a rotação de acordo com a climatização desejada. Trata-se de um circuito inteligente, com pouca oscilação e sem picos. Por isso, apresenta economia na conta de energia elétrica de cerca de 60%.
Baixo nível de ruído
O ar-condicionado inverter faz menos barulho do que os modelos convencionais. Nele, quando a temperatura fica estabilizada, o compressor passa a trabalhar em baixa rotação e com um ruído bem menor.
Pelo fato de contar com duas unidades, sendo uma interna e outra externa, o ruído se concentra na parte que fica fora do cômodo. Isso gera mais conforto e bem-estar aos usuários e se torna um importante diferencial.
Menos impacto ambiental
Os modelos tradicionais de ar-condicionado utilizam o gás R-22 (HCFC), que danifica a camada de ozônio. Já os equipamentos com tecnologia inverter usam o gás ecológico R-410A, que não é tóxico e nem inflamável.
Esse gás é considerado ecológico, pois não conta com CFCs (clorofluorcarbonos), que são substâncias à base de cloro altamente prejudiciais à saúde humana e à camada de ozônio.
Como escolher o modelo ideal?
Antes de optar pelo modelo tradicional ou pelo ar-condicionado inverter, é preciso analisar as necessidades do ambiente. É isso que vai definir a potência de refrigeração capaz de climatizar o espaço.
A potência é determinada pelo BTU, sigla para British Thermal Unit — a Unidade Térmica Britânica. Dessa forma, é necessário fazer o cálculo da necessidade do ambiente para acertar na compra do ar-condicionado na potência adequada.
